Ok, I'm trying to hook up an iab on my spyder intake with a holley race tb.

I noticed that the 94-95 iab is allways closed. I can blow on one of the holes and very little air bleeds by.

On another iab that has a exit tube insted of a second hole. I can blow all day long and no restiance. This iab works the same way as a fox iab it just has an outlet tube that you would riute to the intake past the tb.

Why is the 94-95 closed and why is the fix open. Any ideas on what I could do or what I need to change?

Are you referring to the "IAC" valve?

I have both fox body and the SN95. I know the fox body won't bolt up to the SN95 because of oil fill tube on the right valve cover is in the way. They both should be closed with power off the solenoid.

It's written out there somewhere to clean them out with carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Don't it. It will smoke that coil in there as soon as the power is put back on.

They are functionally identical, but the 94/95 one is flipped 180* from the Fox one.

Damn, I don't know how I could have 2 bad iac's. But when I apply voltage to the 2 fox ones they don't do crap. It's off to the pars store tomorrow to play with them and see what I can find.
