Difference between 05-09 vs 2010

Ok please forgive my ignorance. Pretty new to the mustang world. But what is the difference between 2005-09 vs 2010. I have found alot of different parts that say they will fit 05-09 on one site and the same exact part on another site saying it will fit 2010. SO what is the major difference? BTW I have used the search function on this site as well as google ect and havent been able to come up with an explination.

All the body parts but the roof line, lights and front and rear valiances (Needs a longer exhaust tip than the 09). Most of the interior was redone also. Engine and driveline is the same. The 10 is more aero and a few pounds heavier.

So all the difference is cosmetic basically. The motors are all the same?

The 10' still has the 4.6 3V (same as the 05-09) but with a few more ponies. I believe the body and interior is very close to, if not the same as the 11'+ GTs

Body parts for 05-09 & 10's are different. As for drivetrains 99% parts are the same for example codl air intakes are different, some shifter handles are different, and the mufflers are different.

Didn't the base 2010 GT inherit the Bullitt engine from the 09 GT Bullitt?

the bullit is just the same 4.6 that the other gt's had. t he difference is in the air intake and tune.

but yes the 10 gt got that stock.

Yea, you are correct. For some reason I could've sworn it also had a different cam and intake manifold. Maybe I was thinking about how the 01 Bullitt got the different intake manifold. My bad...
