Difference in frame mounts for v-8??

What exactly is the difference in the frame mounts between the 2.3 and the 5.0? Looking at my 4cylinder car and comparing it to pics of the v-8 mounts they appear the same to me. I have the v-8 motor mounts and it appears they would bolt to my existing frame mounts. I can only guess that the distance between them is different . Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

IIRC isn't the Driver's stand relocated back an 1" or so and the passenger stand is closer to the frame (doesn't extend out as far) on the V8 stands.

Try to lower a V8 into it and then you will see

The first time I put a 302 into a V6 car I was scratching my head thats for sure
If you take a casual look at the frame mounts they sure look similar, but the V8 is placed more forward then the 4 and the V6 as Dano pointed out.
