Stopped by a dealer and picked up the Mustang booklet, and noticed different wheels that you can purchase that I have never seen before. They were on the very last page under accessories (17'' Polished GT Styel Wheel). Anyone know anything more about these, or has anyone seen them on the new Stang???

Yea, I have the on mine. They are an extra cost option. Can't remember how much they were but I wish I would have saved my money and went with the retro wheels, I like those better. :owned:

Yeah I asked a salesmen about them, he told me you had to order them from the parts dept and they were very expensive. So Ruffy which rims did you buy? I was looking at the chrome bullit style with the spinner centers. But I'm guessing from your reply you dont feel it was worth the extra money. I just gave up on them got the standard bullit rims with my car like most of the rest of us have and figure I'll buy some nice 18" rims of my choosing later when I get my body parts added I want.

Ruffy, how do you like the Redfire color?? That is exactly what I am going to order this month, but with the regular dark charcoal interior. I think the Redfire looks best when it is in the sunlight.

Those on Ruffys are the 195 dollar optional aluminum wheel NOT the ones from the Mustang Accessories catolog.
The 17x8 5 spoke GT polished aluminum with Pony Spinners and lug nuts are $333 per wheel. I ordered them for my GT which I dont expect to be here till end of Jan.
You can get just the spinners which fit any of the 17 in 2005 wheels except for the optional wheel like on Ruffys car. $114 each

YOu can get Black, silver or argent center wheels for something like 280 per wheel with spinners.

I love the Redfire color. Words can't describe it.

I guess I got bent over and done dry on my wheels because according to my paperwork they cost me $395. for the set. Typical AFFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service) always getting over on people.

OOUCH!! Thats gotta hurt!! :notnice: Shoot Ruffy you could have had the upgrades from the accessory catalog for that price.

Thunder Road thanks for the prices, I figured if the salesman thought they were expensive they would be way more than I wanted to spend. I have seen plenty of nice 18 rims on the net for less than $250 a piece, Ill save my money for them later.
