Differentail Cover

Next mod.... RP 75/140 gear oil change and differentail cover.

Undecided on a ford racing chrome cover or the aluminum cover with the bearing support.

Please post pics so I can make up my mind

i would go with the aluminum cover better heat transfer and it has the support for the bearings caps

so thats what it is J/K oh and it will make it easier to swap the fluid too since it has drain and fill plugs

The aluminum cover does alot more than just provide useless looks that you can hardly seen anyway.

if you want looks, powder coat the aluminum one for about 40 bucks

mine is from MAC..only $149 not as "pretty" its just raw aluminun...but has fill and drain plugs and bearing gridles and uses nice hex bolts..notice no leaks either. I like only $149 a few years ago.

I did not say that I believed the aluminum one was not worth the money. Also, if it was me I would get the aluminum one.

I have the nicklel plated one,i believe it stated that it is nickel plated lol.Anyways,it's shiny.

Here's a pic of my trick flow one when I first put it on. Don't mind the blue RTV, as it has since been redone when I got the gears installed. Didn't leak though. I bought it since it offered the additional capacity over stock and has the bearing support, which also couldn't hurt. It also comes bundled with ARP bolts and is offered at a decent price. As the others have said though, unless your working on the stang, whatever it looks like won't be seen.

get the aluminum one. every rear end needs a little support. chrome is just a show piece. better to have some functionality.
