I had the SVO cap and it also had a different fill hole and had bearing supports that you tighten on it. The only thing just is that when you fill with the different hole you have to still take out the original plug so that you know when its full and so you don't overfill unless you know exactly how much oil you need.

The cap on top is the vent cap (although you can fill it there, you will still need to remove the fill plug to know when you have the correct amount of fluid in there). I just had my diff open a few days ago.
As I said the fill hole is on the driver side back (or front depending on how you look at it) of the diff near where the driveshaft attaches.

I found the plug I never rotated the diff over to see it till tonight.3/8" drive wrench like said will do the job.the plug hole was covered by a bracket for the brake line had to take closer look.

Well due to having the ole ban hammer dropped on him, i doubt he still needs an answer to this....
