Had the same problem and was taken care of with a gear change. If you're even remotely considering a gear change, I'd go ahead and get it done and save the extra 100 bucks by just getting the repair done. Just make sure you can get a decent deal on getting the gears done. Mine cost 300 for installation, 150 for the gears and 80 bucks for the rebuild kit. Kind of costly compared to the 100 buck repair but the results are the most awesome of nearly any modification you can get.LI98GTStang said:My pinion seal was leaking and had it changed also.
