Differential Question - 94 GT

Hey guys, I just had a quick question. Does anyone know how I can find out what type of differential is on my 1994 Mustang GT? Is it open or is it limited-slip? I believe its stock, if that helps.

Your GT has Trac-Loc...Its Fords version of a posi unit....it has clutch packs inside the dif...as they wear out, you'll get one wheel peels or more "limited slip"...meaning its time for a rebuild...50.00 for the kit...overall its an excellant unit and will hold up to quite abit of abuse...

rio5.0's right. its traction lock, as far as the ratio goes. most were 3.08 or 2.73 and if not tampered with will still have a tag on one of the cover bolts to verify this. if there is no tag, jack the back of the car up and count the realationship between the driveshaft and tires.
