Ok so here is my dilemma...my g/f and I are moving to St. Pete from CT
The move is approximately 1,300 miles
HERE is the problem
we have 3 vehicles to transport...my 2000 Mustang Vert 6er, my 87 Mustang GT T-Top, and her Dodge Intrepid
we don't have much and can easily drop the U-haul idea and save a couple grand...however there is two of us and we obviously can't drive 3 cars at the same time...
I can get a friend to drive the 87...but that would cost an obnoxious amount of money in gas
the car needs a new hood, needs new paint and isn't in the greatest condition...people tell me to keep the car...but the value on the car just isn't that high
something tells me I should sell it and pocket the money..for I do NOT have enough money to throw repairs and mods into the car!
I have ZERO mechanical skills and would have to pay for every little thing w/labor to get stuff done..
is the car worth going through the trouble of paying $2,000 for U-haul with tow plus the gas for the U-haul plus having it around down south to mod the **** out of?
