Direct Cool Air to snorkel

Hi All, I am trying to find out if anyone has ever made the modification mentioned in the Falcon 6 performance book where they suggest ducting air through a hole in the radiator support directly to the snorkel. I do not see any posts about people doing this. Has anyone tried it? How did it go? Do you have any pictures? I have a 1965 200ci convertible. Thanks, ACS

I never did that mod to that car but it looks simple, if you have the factory air cleaner just get some flex duct hose like from pepboys and duct it together,
you can go to a junkyard and get a air scoop off of just about and car or truck, just select the style you want and check that it will fit the rad support hole
If you have a aftermarket or you want to change it all over then look again at a junkyard and pick up the whole air cleaner assembly that will look good in your car. Ther are many ways to do this

I have been thinking about doing this myself. It would serve a great purpose, but I think it would be an eye sore everytime I opened my hood.
