Like the title says, recently Ive been noticing my stang has a mysterious oil and coolant disappearing problem... and I mean it... it literally is just disappearing After a week or two the oil level on the distick goes from the top of the crosshatching to the bottom, and the coolant warning light goes on after a month and a bit. The wierd thing is, the car is NOT leaking anything, I dont notice anything dripping, whether the car is warm or cold. Also, theres no blue, black or white smoke, no sweet smell, no oily smell.. nothing is dirty (oil covered) in the engine bay or on the tranny.. the car runs great, there is no coolant in the oil, and now Im very stumped. I bought the car knowing it had a pan gasket leak (which was very noticeable), but fixed that, and the car has been fine up till recently. What are some common things that might cause these problems? I just find it so wierd... if the car isnt burning or leaking where are all these fluids going?

coolant maybe it was just low in the radiator so it was going from the overflow into the radiator.

oil. i wouldn't know. i have to put oil in my car more often then gas.

you've been under the car and looked?

i had a few leaks when i bought my car, rear main seal, and the dipstick wasn't even connected. so oil spewing everywhere.

then about 2 months ago my radiator was cracked, and leaking antifreeze.

You may have a very small head gasket leak. Enough to cause slow oil and coolant loss, but not enough to produce noticeable blue or white smoke from the exhaust. Stand behind the vehicle and ask a buddy to rev the engine up from idle to see if any smoke does appear.
You could also check the plugs and see if any one looks different from the rest.

is there any place that oil could collect under the car and not fall to the ground? (for instance the bellhousing?) its just wierd that the car isnt burning (visibly) or leaking

Another question, this motor has been well taken care of and only has about 110,000 KILOMETERS on it.. could oil loss problems be coming from the bottom end/rings? The engine seems to young for that.. I heard somewhere that 302s are notorious for oil loss at the intake gaskets.... sooo... if I were to upgrade the top end to say.. a trickflow, could this possibly help my situation? I dont want to be doing any mods on an oil-burning engine, but it might actually help the cause couldnt it?

If you're losing oil through the intake gaskets, you'll see oil on the plugs. Pull them and check. Oil on the plugs could also be appearing past worn piston rings so I suggest you do a "wet" and "dry" compression check of all cylinders to rule out that possibility.
A small rear main crank seal leak could just leave oil smeared underneath the car without falling to the ground. The easy way to find out is to put the car up on a ramp and look underneath.
