alright...im puttin my 96 axle under my 93 GT.....i took the brake lines off the 93 and tied them into the 96 lines and capped off the extra hook up....is this how i should have did it...so i just use the single fox hook up????

no no no....its an 8.8 out of a cobra...that my be why it has the extra hook up...idk.....but the left side has one line in and the right said has one line that spilts into 2...so i just pluged one of them off....took the hard lines off my 93 rearend and bolted it all back on and into the car

well idk but this came out of a wrecked 96 cobra...i know b/c i pulled it...the only way the v6 is possible is if the guy took the 8.8 out and put the 7.5 in b4 he sold it to us..and the guy had no way of doing this and i could tell the rearend had never been out of the car...there for its an 8.8 and i guess the cobra brakes also had 2 ports on the P/S

I double checked myself, if you look on NAPAs website and use a 96 Cobra and GT you will get the same part Number with the single outlet brake hose P/N 380371. If you click on the V6 model you get the 2 port outlet hose P/N 380542. Someone had to switch rearends in that thing before you got to it. You may want to check the tag that is bolted to the diff cover for some info!

havent checked and its 11 and night here so ill have to look tomorrow.....it has to be a 8.8 but ill check again....

If the brake line juction is over to the left side its an 8.8 and if you have the vented 11.65" rotors out back they are Cobras.
