I am looking to replace my stock power front disc and drum rear brake setup I my 1970 Mach 1. My choices of course are out of the big three, Baer, Wilwood, and SSBC. I have heard the Bear's are great but are they worth the money? I don't mind spending the $$$ if they are worth it. I will use 17" wheels and the rotors and calipers will be highly visible and I want something to look nice and give me great performance on the street. I am building a restomod so stock appearance is not an issue. Who has used what and had luck and do you have any pics? Can anyone recommend who to buy from for best prices? Thanks.

To be honest they are all fine choices. The wilwood's will increase the front track so take that into account. I believe SSBC makes a kit that will fit on the front disk brake spindles, not sure about the others. I'm doing a conversion on my 68 and found the Baers and SSBC while more expensive better fit my needs. Some criticize SSBC kits for being expensive, that being said, I found that after you piece together everything from Baer they're about the same. Good luck.
