Anyone have any experience with a place called rcmotorsports.net (rod & customs motorsports)? They have disc brake kit listed for $349 (calipers, rotors, brackets, etc. I have a 69 hardtop and would like to have disc brakes, nothing special just factory style. I am going to call this place and find out more info. But, if anyone knows anything please let me know.
Thanks

That kit uses Granada rotors that bolt onto your stock V8 spindle. I'm not sure if the kit will work with a 69, but I'm sure they will know. That is not a bad price. You could also go with a scarebird kit. This kit would be cheaper, but it used non Ford rotors and calipers. He sells his brackets on eBay. His website is www.scarebird.com but it doesn't have a lot of info on it.

Got this kit on my 66 & 70. These are well made kits. I bought a 74 Maverick manual disc/drum master cylinder local that is used on this kit, also bought an adjustable proportioning valve from the local speed shop. You'll need bought of these items as they're not included in the basic kit.

G/L, sparky!!!

I am in the middle of installing the kit right now. The components are good and everything has gone on fine. The instructions and documentation are terrible, but they have been very helpful when I have called them.
