afast93stang said:Yes but it was only a contract for distribution. Before Eisner was on his way out, Disney & Pixar had a major disagreement and the contract wasnt going to be renewed. After Cars Pixar was going up as a "free agent" trying to get a new contract with one of the other major studios. Since Eisner stepped down, his replacement pushed hard to fix the disagreement with Pixar and reciently sealed the deal by buying Pixar outright. Pixar's studios will remain where they are at but they are now officially a part of Disney. Jobs and the other high-ups that made Pixar great are still there so no need to worry about quality going down.
