In an attempt in finding out what is causing my front discs to lock up, I'm down to the last item, the distribution block. There are so many different size nuts on the hard brake lines at the distribution block and master cylinder.

My car is in the storage yard right now and I've been going back and forth to see what lines and size nuts I might need because I'm sure I'll destroy some nuts trying to remove them from the old distribution block. (I'm past the laughing stage.) Now I find out the top rear nut on the distribution block will require a 7/16" nut (wrench size) and a 1/2" nut at the MC end. I can only find the 7/16" nut in a 1/4 inch diameter size brake line, but I'm sure all the hard brake lines are 3/16". Anyone have a clue?

FYI.

I did a google search last night and the only 7/16" brake line nut I could find was for a 1/4" tube and I need something for a 3.16" tube.

Stopped by an all Ford wrecking yard today and found tons of master cylinders and distribution blocks in a big pile. After a minute or two, I found that elusive 7/16" nut for a 3/16" brake line, and the best part, it was free.

If u need any more check a parts store called OReillys; they have a huge selection of fittings and tubing.
