For the past few months my car has been dieing for no reason. If I was rolling, the engine would catch and continue. If I was stopped, the engine would crank for a while, then catch. This trend has been slowing getting worse.
At first I thought it was a fuel pump issue, replaced it. NO LUCK. My shop thought it was either the Ignition module (replaced that, still no luck) or the distributor pickup (yet to replace).
I will be replacing the distributor and hopefully this weekend, but I want to make sure I put in the right one. I can get a stock dist for around $100 or an MSD for $250.
Is an MSD distributor thay much better than stock and why?
