I had my TFI replaced a while ago ,and now i beleive i need to replace my stator before it finally craps out totally.
I dont know how to take out a ditributor. How do you set the crank to TDC? Im thinking i might just buy the MSD billet distributor, or a ford oem one so i dont have to worry about anything. But that still leaves the problem of how to do pull the distributor, and how to keep the cam gear from staying in position...

You dont HAVE to set it to TDC; take the distributor cap off and mark the dizzy where the rotor is pointing, and mark the bottom of the dizzy to the engine. To remove, take out the one bolt at the bottom of the shaft and pull upwards slowly. When you drop it back in, make sure your marks line up, and it'll be right AS LONG AS YOU DID NOT ROTATE THE ENGINE AT ALL. Dropping it in can be tricky, b/c the dizzy gear is helical cut, so it'll take a couple tries to line up the rotor, but you'll get the hang of it. If you rotate the engine while the dizzy is out, you will have to reset the engine to TDC on #1 (compression stroke), and point the rotor at #1.

Edit: BTW, does that T trim come with brackets??
