just replaced my LCA's and am debating on removing my quads or not, what do you guys thinik?

i wasnt getting much wheel hop before, only a little at the track (wierd it only happen there and never on the street)

but i have horrible traction.. ill try without them i suppose

How was the install??I saw those and they look some what like Steeda LCA at half the price.

I've mentioned on here before a lot of companies suggest to remove them when you change your arms. I know some say not to but who knows. I ditched mine they were shot anyway. Did you get new uppers too?

I wouldn't remove them.

The one's I put on said to remove them in the directions that came with them. I have absolutely no wheel hop now with the new LCAs. Plus it is a free weight savings. I removed the brackets for the quads on the subframe as well.

well i decided to leave em on. i had em out and they wieghed maybe 2lb at most each and their fairly new so i just put em back on. just finished with the install and rides good so far, rear feels more solid.


install just takes a lot of labor, nothing really too hard except those front bolts woulda been a breeze if i removed the mufflers but decided to leave em in

What does this mean? Does it bounce? Or do slammed hondas handle real well? Reason I am asking is after having many cars, I have noticed the mustangs handling is not so hot and I would like to improve it.

mine handles pretty well IMO. full mach-1 suspension, LCA's and some wieght saving

i wanna get some subframes next tho

I installed MM LCAs, FRRP UCAs and removed the quad shocks (they were in bad shape) and no problems to note. It becomes a personal preference. Here's my advice to those who have the same question/concern: If you install LCAs test drive the car with and without the quads and do some burnouts, simulate a 1/4 mile run, or whatever floats your boat and see how she feels then decide whether or not to remove them. This way you can eliminate personal opinions with true data. In the performance world this is how performance parts are measured - with and without, before and after - to measure differences. Oh by the way, after performing such test, you should, just as is done by the performance world professionals, post the results for all to see. Just One Man's Opinion keeping it real.

I think I may try the LCA's and see what happens..do they actually make the car HANDLE better or just better traction?
