i'm gonna be buying the I/C tomorrow, there are variations on the 24x12x3 on ebay. one has a core size of 17" and is 24" end to end and one has a core length of 24" and is 31" end to end. which one is everyone using?
go by core length unless youre buying it based on fitment dimensions.
i ran the 24x12x3 on my dsm. loved making fun of people who spend 1000$+ on some name brand kit that STILL has to be modified(depending on turbo outlet and piping route), when i spent 300$, and after a run at the track in the pits, guess whos piping was cooler to the touch? mine.
Here's a good link I looked at...also do a search on the MPH forums....I'm getting ready to buy my stuff as well...as soon as I replace the rear bumper that somebody smashed in the parking lot...just remember to get 3" piping, and the overall length of the intercooler shouldn't be much more than 31-31" (I think)....and make sure to get quality silicone hose connectors w/ T-bolts
i'm gonna buy a cheap piping kit off ebay and the buy better silicone couplers and t clamps. heres the kits i'm looking at. which one looks like a better deal?
