do 2.3 mustangs have the same engine as the early-mid 90's rangers?

more or less. They are both lima 2.3's, but the 87-90 mustangs only have 1 spark plug, different cams, and intake. The ranger and 91-93 mustang got the same dual plug engine with the major differences being an exhaust manifold change, and other little things.
