Do Air/Fuel gauges work?

has anyone ever tried using those air/fuel pod guages? Im looking for a general air fuel ratio, not an exact number tuning FP-wise. If i got one of those guages, and i welded in a seperate 02' sensor, could i get a close reading? which side should i use? thanks

if its a wideband then yes you can use it with great results.... but if its one of thoes autometer ones then you're just in for a pretty light show.

Well, I guess if you just want a range they would be fine. Not for tuning though as you put it.

whell, yeah im not talking tweecer tuning, however i just want a general idea on which way to go with my fuel pressure, and not a wideband,those are cash! just a gauge-pod type.
