Do all stock 5.0s sit like this?

Notice how my car sits higher in the front than in the rear. It looks really retarded. Is there anyway I can fix this or do I need to buy lowering springs for the front? I just want the front to sit level with the rear.

I have always hated how much space was in between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fenderwell on stock Mustangs. Even the later models with 17's still have a lot of gap.

Lowering springs or coil overs would do the trick. You can cut the front springs, but I don't recommend it.

Your Mustang has a case of dragin as. Very common in higher mileage Mustangs. New springs will fix it. The springs get weak over time and can't hold the car weight like they did when they were newer.

new springs fix that. Had the same prob w/ my car. Never a big fan of the mustang off road package.

You have a saggy a$$. Get some Eibachs or FMS springs and you'll be good.

I would suggest the Ford Racing springs over the Eibach if you want a look that is closer to stock. the Eibach will lower a stock Mustang up to 1 1/2". The Ford springs will lower the front 7/8" and the rear 1/2". Ford suggests not to lower a Fox body car by more then 1". In your case the new springs will raise it back close to original.

If you weight reduce the nose, it shoots in the air ending up looking kinda like that. Odd thing is I already had the car lowered back with C springs (butt smashers....be warned. These things are HARD) and I got tired of bottoming out on all the amherst area speed bumps (college town, every lot has a dozen bumps to keep the kiddies from racing around) so I got coilovers and basically put my car up higher to look biscally like yours.

Ground clearance has it's advantages. Plus dropsprings make your tires hit the plastic fenderwells on turns and sometimes even the fener rim!

I have had both on my car ... the Eibach pro-kit looks closer to stock than the FMS c springs. The Eibach sportlines will drop your car more.

My car is slammed 1.5" and the rear is slightly higher than the front. I have Mac and KYB components in my suspension.

Then I assume the pro-kit is a stock height replacement. The FMS springs I have actually raised my car. (I had saggy butt also) I have old pictures of my car when it was new and have taken current photos and there is little if no difference at all.

Pro-kit does lower a little but I think it is certainly higher than FMS springs. I didn't have a saggy butt prior to either spring install so neither one raised my car.

I've seen that on alot of cars too... a good friend of mine had a '92 that looked just like that, saggy ass... I think he sold it awhile back...

but yeah, this is a good excuse for needing new springs!! FMS C Springs all tha way...

So, basically I just need to get lowering springs all the way around? Is there a kit that anyone suggests, or does everyone feel that Eibach springs are the way to go?

I've had to change the springs on every mustang I've owned. The springs I like the best as a good all around spring (meaning nice ride quality, improved handling and a good sporty stance) are the Eibach pro-kit. Dont listen to the poeple that say the pro kit is lower and rougher than the sprotlines because their not. The sportline are a fixed rate in the weeds spring. The only thing I dont like about the pro-kit is that they are harder to install because you pretty much have to use a compressor. The FMS "C" spring I have only used on my 4cyl car which made the front ride real stiff at first. They have been on the car for a few months now and have settled down real nice. I would not hesitate to use them again, especially for a V8 car. I think the ride quality is decent and I think it would be pretty close to the pro-kit if they were installed on a V8. They also cost half as much as the Eibachs and are uber easy to install. I would expect about 1" all around with the "C" springs, about 1.5" with the pro-kit and 2" or more with the sportlines. I have also used MAC, Jamo, BBK, ans Saleen racecraft springs in the past. Most were too low and stiff for my liking. The race craft's looked good on my 95 but they were ****ing brutal.

Lemme tell ya, those "C"'s are rough. Like WHAM WHAM WHAM. You'd better use rubber isolators or you are in for a rough rough ride. The only advantage is the springs are so hard that I was able to toss my front swaybar and the ridiculous hard C springs kept the body from rolling all on their own.

I have the Pro-Kit and am very satisfied with them. You will have to use a spring compressor on the front coils though. The FMS were too rough for me and they were a specific rate like the Eibach sport-kit. The Pro-kit is a progressive rate spring kit that I think handles and rides very well.

Put some 4cyl springs up front.I have eibach drag springs.Sits nice!! I like it better then the slammed look..Plus it rides better

I have the C springs also. The front dropped like over 1.5 inches cuz i only used the top isolator. Couldnt get the old ones off. So i bought the steeda rings that lifted it back up about .5 inch. It rides pretty good with no people in the car, but rubs like a bastard if you have more than 2, on big bumps. Wish i had the bottom isolators. Owelp, once i put AL heads and intake and get rid of some weight in the front it will ride perfect.
