well for the first time tonight i went WOT with my new motor, its still on stock tune, and running really rich, (it blows black smoke out the pipes under hard acceleration), so i got on it in 1st gear, and the rpms instantly shot to 6k, and as soon as it went a little over 6k it shut completely OFF, and fell flat on its face, the rpms dropped and at about 4k it came back on and ran perfect, but i have brought it to about 6k ish before with the stock motor and it has never done this, its like the fuel shut off, and it scared the $hit out of me........

They have an inertia switch that is supposed to cut the fuel supply in case of a hard impact, but I doubt that relates to your problem.

yeah, i know that, i realy think it was a computer thing tho, it felt just like when you hit the stock 120mph speed limiter at WOT.........

My guess would be you hit the rev limiter, it mis-fired possibly because it is running so rich and just fell on its face for a second untill it could rebound.

Wouldn't sweat it too much as long as it ran fine afterwards like you said it did.

ive hit the limiter on the stock motor, and all it did was bounce off it, not completely die.........

I know, but what I am saying is because you are running so rich it could have choked the engine out when it hit the rev limiter and just taken a second to catch itself.

Might want to lay off of the pedal until you get it tuned before you do some damage
