Do GT's have the same '99-00 PCV problem as V6?

I'm sorry for being such a NooB ya'll and for asking this question in various forums, but I need to know the answer as quick as possible. Won't happen again, I promise! Anyways, the problem is discussed in this thread: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?p=4423890#post4423890

Can anyone tell me with certainty that the GT's had a different part/configuration and didn't have this problem? Thanks alot

no, i am sure they have oil that gets in the upper but not as bad as some of the 99 -00 years

well I mean the '99-00 GT's. Is that what you meant?

No, they don't. The reason the 99-00 V6s have such an acute problem is really nothing more than 'circumstance'. The location of the PCV valve in the valve cover, combined with the way the oil splashes inside the head, etc. etc.

ANY PCV system will draw small amounts of oil into the intake. But in answer to your question, no, there is no acute problem with the 4.6L as there is with the V6.
