If one was to order something like this:

Would it have to welded together at the H? Do mac still make thoses still b/c i still see them on websites. Im wondering if anyone has brought one pictured as the silver one piece and received a 3 piece modular? Also, does the silver 1 piece have to be welded?

NO. I had a Jegs.com Off-Road H-Pipe for about 1 year and it was clamped together in the middle, and it never leaked or anything. Just make sire when putting it together you slip the pipe way up in the other

Cool, i was just wondering. If it did have to be welded than its a waste of time b/c i could just order a mac 3 piece from somwhere else that doesn't need to be welded for the same price once the 1 piece gets welded.

Now if i ever do switch to a o/r pipe ill know for sure.

thanks.

Would it be possible for me to unbolt the clamp and do that? Or could i go ahead and put some over this pinhole leak i have?
