Ok, for the past year or so iv had this horriable grinding/rumbling noise when i accelerate. I had it looked at and i was told my rear had lost its fluid and the gears has stripped and gone bad. It was refilled with fluid and the problem still persisted. I had my clutch done this past weekend and oddly enough the noise has stopped. I get a nice smooth quiet ride up until about 50 when the car starts to vibrate alot. So im guessing perhaps something was loose in the mounts or driveshaft. So should i still get a new rear? And what could be causing the new vibration?

Since the noise is fixed it was obviousl somthing inolved with the clutch. Vibrations can be annoying to track down. I see in you sig that your broke, I can relate. The vibration is most likely a wheel/suspenion related issue. Do you have a shop/mechanic you can trust? If so have them/him/her check the alignment and check the wheels for warpage. I remember m dad chasing a 70mph wobble for months until i turned out to be a bent wheel (The wheel was previously ruled out cause aluinum wheels normaly tear instead of bending).

How are your tires looking? How is the alignment?

As to my knowledge my tires are decent. But alignment im not sure of. I hope it would be something small like that cause id be more then happy to have 400 extra bucks in my pocket. But ill have to talk it over with my mechanic, he works with my dad at a Votech school so he gets awesome deals and wouldnt dick anyone around. Hes also a very patient guy, the whole time he was putting in my clutch he put up with me asking "Whats This?" "Whats That Do?" and "How Can I Get Some More Power!?!?!?" Thanks For The Input Guys
