Yesterday I was at a stop light and decided to launch when it turned green. So it turns and I go. My car is an auto, and during first gear its fine, but when it shifted into second, it sounded like my exhaust was going to explode and acceleration really decreased.
Did it backfire? It didn't redline either. This isn't the first time this happened, but it rarely does.
Any clues on why this happened? Car runs great though. Should I adjust my timing to 14*?
