my 88 GT? I want pick up a BBK T/B but need to know if Im going to have to spend anouther 50 bucks. Also, anyone have any pointers on this buy? 70mm to much for an engine with light mods or can I go to 75 mm without losing any power or torque? Difference in HP gains between 70 and 75 mm?

unless you want to bolt the 70mm tb up to the 58mm stock egr spacer yes you need one.

If your car is N/A you probably don't need much more than 70mm of TB to maintain good street driveability.

65mm will be plenty big for a mild engine

58 was used on '86 and '87 (?) models. 60mm after that year.
