do i need ford nuts??

some guy just told me that the nuts that hold the h-pipe to the header have to be special ford ones and also the nuts that connect the muffler to the h-pipe....i thought i could just get em from a hardware store....who is right????

BAHAAHHAHAHAHHHAHHAHAHHAHAH OMG that made my day........................LOL that wasnt the wal-mart greater by any chance was it? any metric bolt and nut will work..................... i think i used 15 or 16 MM.......................what ever came sith my bbk H-pipe............LOL some people KILL ME................

You don't need special bolts. I just took mine off last night. The nuts are 16mm.

Stainless is best, but whatever you want. I like ace hardware and other small hardware stores for nuts and bolts.

I have a crescent wrench that on one side is stamped "metric". On the other side is stamped "SAE".

I have no idea why.
