Do I need LONGER studs for my WELDS ? (pic inside)

I'mjust not gonna take any chances I guess. I'll use the longer studs and the open end SST lugnuts. IS there anybody that used the MOROSO LONG STUD, specially made for a 79-03 stang, part #46185 ?
 
Yes you definitly need the studs regardless if you are street or track driven. It is not safe if the stud doesn't extend into the nut portion, we've snapped the lugs off with out the open studs without even making it the proper tq setting.

The Moroso studs are OK, put check out the ARP's they tend to be a little cheaper and I believe they have the correct size for both the front and rear...

I'd get the McGuard Tuff Nuts with the removable plastic end caps, these are guaranteed for life from rust or chipping and they are worth the few extra dollars..
