Do I need to grease carrier bearings?

May be a dumb question but I'm about ready to put the carrier back into the car and not sure if I should grease them or not?

No.. You can put a light coating of gear oil on them, but thats about it. Don't put axle grease in there. Once you fill the rear end and the tires roll one revolution, the bearings will have a coating of oil on them.
