I have an 03 Mustang GT. It has a 75mm T/B & Plenum, Ford Racing Cold Air Intake, Ford Racing Ceramic Headers, and Flowmasters on my floor in boxes. Do I really need a tune when installed? I was thinking about a SCT if I need one. What if I dont tune?

What kind of gains either way?

Thank you Very Much!!

well it does have its benefits of a bit more power but the question is are you going to do any major mods down the road but either way you should if you are

Well, I was going to put the 5/8s fuel rails and 30# injectors, and possibly the The new alluminum intake that Performance Products just came out with. Otherwise I would like to get as much power out of my 03 GT as possible W/O No2 or SC.

you are fine with the stock injectors you have unless you are putting cams or something that might require 30# injectors. But i would recommend in getting the tuner if you are doing major mods like cams since you dont want to go F/I

well it would be a huge waste to put on bigger injectors especially when you have no power mods

When you use this formula for Injectors, mine are about at the end of there rope. You guys might want this? That is why I am changing them out.

Fuel injector size Formula:

Eng HP x BSFC
______________ = Inj. lb/hour

No. of Inj. x 0.8

BSFC=0.4-0.6 (0.55 is used)

well the stock injectors are good for like 300HP if i remember correctly and even then you can up grade to either 24# or 30# injectors depending on your power range but you have enough to up grade to that big of an injector. If you F/I then the kits should come with a specified injector for that application

From what I hear my 03 has 24's. Is this right?

I know if I use bigger injectors I will need a tuner for sure.

30# injectors is overkill. Your car is gonna run like crap and your mileage will completely suck.
