Do i really need cc plates on a stock car?

My g/f has a car she took into a shop to have the alignment done...well they told her she needed inner tie rod ends. After they installed them, they did the alignment. Well now the car pulls to the right and we had the car back in. He told us that it may be a radial pull, so he rotated the tires for her at no charge.

He also said since the factory doesn't list camber specs, he can't do anything about it the pulling to the right. Which seems very odd, cause i had an '98 that would sit in a straight line for miles on the highway and no one never told me anything like that before. So i don't understand how her car can be so untuned for her camber as he says it is.

Can someone please enlighten me on what could be going on? The car is completly stock other than exhaust, supension is completly stock.
 
I assume you meant caster NOT camber. Camber is adjustable but caster isn't. But here's a trick. If the camber cannot be adjusted with the stock plate have the alignment shop elongate the bolt holes on the tower by about 1/4" in the direction they need to move. This will not affect anything and will give enough movement to bring the camber into spec.
 
My front end is as close to being in spec as they could get it but still was not fully in the green as much as they wanted. They wanted to add a shim kit that would have come out to almost $200 by the time it was installed. I just told them not to do that and got a set of MM CC plates instead, although they are still in their box on my floor.

Do you happen to know what specs they are aiming for?

A camber angle of -.25 degrees left and right is about right. Anything above that say -.5 left/right for aggressive driving.

With my CC plates the camber spec was -1.0 left/right and caster was set at 3.4* left and 3.3* right. Caster angle is not adjustable stock.

Toe in should be max 1/16" or 1/32" each side
