trust me, i drive the car like it is supposed to
i live in so cal, and for anyone that lives around here, i was on the 91 freeway at 1am, and i was racing a vette. i was doing pretty good up to about 110, and then he shuts down. i was kinda celebrating and then i see the dreaded red and blue lights in my mirror....i got a ticket for exceeding 100mph. but i didnt get arrested and my cart was not towed. i fought the ticket, and the cop didnt show up. so if you guys think i dont drive my car liek im supposed to.....i went through a set of tires in less than a year, and yes i did rotate them cuz the back were getting too low.

Put things into perspective this way:

In your life for your own health, do you do everything one way? No, probably not. What I mean is, you shouldnt rag on the car every second your driving it, but you shouldnt baby the hell out of it either. The car needs to be DRIVEN, and change is good for the car. Its good for the thing to go WOT on occassion and driven normal when it should.

I got my 2000 GT this past june with 62,000 on the clock, it now has 68,000 and I only drive it on the weekends. I do put alot of miles on it when I drive it, but only because I never want to get out of the car. On the subject though, I go WOT every once in a while, and quite often go about 3/4 throttle just for a nice kick, but probably 75% of the time its driven pretty normal I suppose, and the car runs great. I'm pretty sure it needs a clutch quadrant because the pedal is like a limp noodle at the top and and vibrates like crazy at stoplights, but other than that the car is great.
