Narro.

I recently had a very poor experience with this seller, and also his company, www.narro.com. I bought an external HD from him several weeks ago and after one week the power source stopped working so I contacted him about sending me another ac adaptor (I was even willing to pay for it). He repeadetly gave me cut and paste answers for me to go to the 'knowledge base' - this was little to no help. Then he told me to buy a new external case from him if I wanted to get the HD to work again (for $40...huge rip off).

I was obviously unsatisfied, and I let him know. This is my email to him after him sending me three very unhelpful replies. He then had the nerve to send me an auto reply email asking how satisfied I am (like he cares)

"I was enjoying the hard drive, until the power source died. It worked for
about a week and a half and now it has failed. I would very much appreciate a replacement. your cooperation in this would greatly affect my decision to do further business with your company. I certainly hope you value your customers as any professional business should.

Please let me know what you can do for me without referring me to your
tech support knowledge base which simply told me to buy a new enclosure.
I do not feel that I should have to buy a new enclosure for $40+ CAD when
it was not my fault that the power source has failed.

I hope to hear back soon,
Duncan McDowell"

he then said:

"Hi,

We try not to read our customers emails, since most of them tend to be
pointless and annoying.

Thank you!"

and then he said...

"Hi,

Clearly, you're an ******* who thinks he's special and deserves to be
treated with respect, when he treats others like crap. You know what?
My business does better when I drive dickheads like you away. So
please ... let your friends know not to shop with me. Since they're
your friends, they're probably *******s too, and I wouldn't want
anything to do with them.

Thank you!"

soooo...guys, don't order from him. lol. he's got major problems. There are actually websites dedicated to him

www.badnarro.com
www.*******athercockerspaniel.com
www.resellerratings.com (where he has a poor rating...an abysmal 1 out of 10 for product replacement/return)

anyway, I filed a complaint against him with the BBB.

If I were a lawyer I'd consider a class action lawsuit because there are many, many people pissed at this guy.

it goes to show that even a 98% feedback rating can still hide a bad seller

mainly because people leave feedback 10 days after they get their product...and then it stops working...after they left positive feedback

Bingo. Number 1 answer right there.

The feedback just means they recieved "A" "Product."

i kind of wish i knew of this before hand. he doesn't live that far from where i live.

the sad things is that he will most likely not see a sentence with jail time. he'll get a slap on the wrist. someone needs to just show up at his door step with a heavy object in their hands to throw at his head.

This is actually his second time being arrested. The first time they must not have had enough evidence to hold him. This time, they investigated 22 individual cases and are nailing him on them.

There's also murmurings of a class action lawsuit. I'm going to be participating in it, mostly to make sure he goes down for this (and it's a bit personal too...I don't like people being dickheads to me, when I consider myself to be a decent human being)
