I took my mufflers and catback off my 04 and looked at the whole exhaust system, but i didnt see anything engraved on them or written on them, i would say you have some kind of aftermarket system, but then again maybe the older mustangs were different.

Mine didn't have that on them. I would guess that it is a FRPP product added to the car.

On McCarvilles site they said its made by ARVIN. ARVIN is the manufacturer of the stock exhaust.

Yes you are correct. It is Arvin - same letters as Ravin, just the first two letters switched around.

My FRPP catback has only Ford oval logos on it. No "Ford Racing" markings anywhere....too bad. But on the plus side, my dealship seems to think it's stock and checks it when I bring her in for service.

Steeda makes the best side exhaust kit.

on the contrary, spintech makes the best side exhaust... and they are your best bet, however:

Steeda and Magnaflow/Roush are the other two companies that i know about.

Basani also makes em but for Cobras with IRS...

or you could have a shop bend some pipes for ya! my recommendation is for spintech, esp if you're doing a cobra r clone
