Do summit seats fit fine with the sliders they come with?

I searched but couldnt find anything. Ill be ordering a set soon and I wanted to know if the sliders that come with them will work fine.

not without some modification. You can reuse the stock stuff if you redrill the sliders, very easy...

You just take the stock sliders off and drills holes where the holes in the summit seat rails off. Then bolt them on. Or you can weld them if you have the ability.

i used my factory seat brackets. i used the rear hole in the factory slider and lined it up with rear hole in the summit seat. then on the front hole i used the factory braket as a guide and drilled a new hole in the steel plate in the bottom of the seat and put a nut on the back side inside the seat.

Dont they sit kinda high with the factory sliders? Or is it the other way around?

Im more than likely gonna use the ones that come with it because my factory power slider is broken.

I keep an eye out for a cheap manual seat bracket all the time. Eventually I'll find one cheap and then I'll be adding these to my car as well. My power seat bracket still works, I just rarely move it and I know eventually it'll break anyway, so might as well go with a manual. Less weight too.

Does anyone know which brakets will sit lower? The stock ones, or the ones that come with the seats? I may pick up a used manual track.

seat sliders

the stock electric seat sliders sit high as hell, im only 5'9" and about 150 pounds and i have a hard time fitting between the seat and steering wheel. This week end im going to put the sliders that came with the seats on and just drill new holes to mount them tho the floor with the stock hole in the floor.

you can't use the ones that come with them alone because they won't be able to be bolted to the floor without some custom fabbing...
