I did some research, but couldnt find a answer. I know some people say that if you install a supercharger, and then have to uninstall it off the car to have some warranty work done to the car, that even if you reinstall the stock tune, it still throws and "e" code that ford can read to let them know you've messed with the CPU. If thats true, does the same remain true with hand held tunners like Diablo and SCT. Thought maybe some of you would know, or would of had experience with this matter. Thank you for your time.

can they throw the infamous "E" code you ask?..Simple answer: YES...How do I know this?. My buddy works for a ford dealership and without him knowing I took my car in for service after re-flashing the computer with the diablosport programmer. I knew all along it was done and then returned to stock program , but I wanted to see if they would catch it...THEY DID!...Granted, nothing happened to me because I have a "friend" that works there so I did not get "blackballed" in the ford OASIS computer....Just keep in mind that no matter what the company says about its programmers, FORD CAN SEE IT

Why would you take off the s/c and reflash it stock before you brought it in for service. Sounds Like a lot of work for nothing??

i wouldn't take off my blower to take it in for service...It would be too much work. My buddy's quote to me was: So I saw you had a program in the car that was NOT of FORD ORIGIN..That was enough for me to know. I originally flashed my car before the blower went on with my CAI and then obviously with the blower itself, but yes they know if they want too!
