Do we have this on our cars?

I'm getting some spark but a weak one. I am getting a MSD billet dizzy tom. for a whopping 150 WAHOO!!!
I will try to get it in tom. if I dont its definately going in saturday. I'm just about dead set that the dizzy is the prob. if the car still don't work then im ordering a ECU.

Wow...that's a great deal get it because MSD is the poop lol!

I got the MSD from a local speed shop. It didn't have the cap with it but that is ok. I'll be using the stockone till the car runs then im going to go pick up the cap at a local auto parts place. The dizzy was once in a car but only for a few days and was never used. The owner pulled it and sold the car right after some installs cause the new owner of the car wanted it stock when he picked it up. His loss was my gain I guess you could say.
Everything will be completed tom. and I'm gonna tear up the road as soon as I get it back. I just hope that on my first joy ride I don't break something else.

Chris, I'm sorry to keep nagging, but one thing I'd check on the dizzy: make sure it has a steel gear on it. Those dizzies and people's use of them - often for race applications (they really shine at super high RPM's where a stocker starts to wander) can lead to it having had a different gear installed (bronze, etc)

I looked at the gear first thing. It looks just like the stocker. The unit itself was clean as a whistle so scratches scuffs or anything.

Well, The car is still at the shop. I wish I would have just dropped it in myself, but my mechanic was backed up and he is working me in between cars. I should get the car back monday afternoon. I really can't wait. I'm prolly gonna break something as soon as I get the car back cause I'm gonna let er rip as soon as I get to a clear road.
