its been a week since the instal.ever since its been on there.there is a strange sound coming from the tb+plenum. Its almost like a "Turbo spooling" sound. Bssss like that .but its not 24/7 there. Only when i first shift to any gear the 5 first seconds maybe while applying gas. after that its gone , till i shift again.I think someone mentioned something about this in a thread once saying its normal. what do you guys think , is that sound normal?

What kind of T/B have you got? Macs were famous for "whistling" under part throttle conditions. A couple of others are too, but they're not coming to mind at the moment?

A sucking sound, but not some 'turbo spooling' sound...? Accufab/Accufab 70mm here...
What kind of elbow have you got? I know the Trick Flow was famous for a whistle due to a 'bar' of sorts that crossed the middle of the elbow.

I have a 75mm Accufab TB and a C&L Plenum and I have never noticed any sound from it.

But then, maybe it's covered up by my MagnaPacks...

Not mine...
and why do you guys want what sounds like a turbo (but isn't) coming from under your hood? Jeez, reminds me of the days of putting a baseball card in the spokes of our bicycle wheels.

I liked baseball cards on my spokes and I didn't grow up to be a ricer...

But I did see a Honda with baseball cards in his rims...

lol we dont want it to sound like a turbo neither did we ask for that sound. Its just a sound that you will get with a Tb+plenum set up.Anyways , i was just asking if that sound was normal , because i thought it might be air leak or something thats all.but i got my answer
