I finally had the money to do this, sick of guessing.

The GT had only 8 miles on her when we bought it. Sending the oil in at 1500 miles to see if it is close to needing change. Curios to see whats in the factory fill..........
Will post my findings in a few months.
Cost was $195 for 6 kits and the pump........

Your thoughts ???:flag:

Factory fill on the Honda had tons of molly in it.........
So was told to leave it in longer for proper break in.

Like I said, everybody GUESS when to change the oil, this wat it gets changed to our driving habits.............

Also want to see if the Honda dealer is screwing me over on the oil quality............

For 195 bucks, i can also get 6 oil changes, and not worry with the mailing etc.

Ill worry when i see metal in it, and then ill only worry about what to put in it when i rebuild it.

Tough crowd here !!

Real simple guys, I am 39 and this is my FIRST newer car with only 8 miles on the engine. Having 4 cars and doing oil changes too early gets $$$$ in the long run.
Go to the site and look at the test examples, in theory the test could tell the engine is going bad with out you knowing it !! Good info if you ask me while on warranty IMOP.

I finally have a ride worth trying this on, so why not ???

The tool I ordered makes it easier to check then the boat kit i have (Boats get changed thru the dipstick)

Peace
