Springs will not fix this problem. Roush suspension will not fix this problem. You all are not replacing the strut MOUNT (or bearing in the mount) that is causing this problem.
I agree with poopdawg.
The upper strut mount is a one time use part, so when
you take the front struts off you need to replace it.
The ford service manual says this. Check it out for yourself.
I have it.. Let me tell you.. If you have it, you would definitely know it everytime you hit the breaks and the weight of the car shifts forward *Thunk*.
Supposedly, it's nothing a little TSB or new springs won't fix I'll go the spring route.
