Im changing R&P to 3:73s does anybody know what size rearend is on 93 vert. with aod is it 7.5?? thanks

8.8 rear end most likely with 2.73 gears

Look on the tag on the pumpkin. Most likely 2.73s as stated.

If it's a 5.0 it's a 8.8

According to my Reference guide 93 5.0 Drivetrains are as follows

5spd manual Standard2.73 Optional 3.08
4spd auto Standard2.73 Optional 3.27

I assume by 93 all Mustangs had 8.8

The tag on the rear (assuming it is still there) will give better/more reliable info though.

ok i was looking on summit ford raceing 3:73s 8.8 had 30 spline will this work???

I don't see how the axle spline count will affect what gears you need.

Can you post the link to the summit gears?

I think that's the entire rear end that he's looking at.

You can just replace the ring gears alone. All you need are 3.73's for an 8.8 rear. Spline counts don't matter. SHould be about $120-190 for a set of Ford gears

Those will work.

I dunno why they say 30 spline...spline count doesn't matter.
