The rubber boots that go on the dizzy and cover the plugs wires...

i found the one off my car in my trunk and its in good shape. if people actually keep them on their cars, i'll pass it along, if not, its trash.

Cool to have if you have a stock looking motor.

I've held onto mine just because its sort of unique to the 5.0. You can actually clean them up with tire shine and make them look pretty good.

Personally, I think they really clean up the look of the engine compartment. I really like the hard plastic one that they had on the 94 and 95 cars, but they won't fit with the strut tower braces on my two cars.

I kept mine, but i don't run it. Dust tends to build up under it

I didn't know if there was a difference at all. That cover looks really clean compared to the stock rubber boot.

Oh - haha!

Now that I think about it I actually did have to notch mine a little in the back. Maybe about 2" wide and 1" high. It's hidden once installed but thought I'd mention it just the same. It did fit loosely w/o modifying it, but why risk it vibrating off the engine and getting ruined/lost, right? I only put mine on at shows since it's chromed, but still...

5.0 Resto sells the Cobra one for about $25, which has the Cobra logo. I almost went with that one until I found a flat/clean looking GT version elsewhere.
