I have seen them, and they look of good qaulity, but I am unsure of it's performance. Thier prices are pretty affordable too. Thoughts anyone?

the only thing that i would say about them is that the t-bodies are a tad shotty and the intakes need some "cleaning".

Unless you want to rebuild your motor, you'd be better off buying an american made product. The chevy and olds guys are seeing quite a few failures that end up wiping out the bearings and crank.

Chris, no personal experience with one (i would have gotten one but they were out of stock). i read a ton of threads and PM'd a few folks whom said they ran one and they had good things to say about them. not that this helps any. LOL.

i will add that for similar money, one can get a Pioneer balancer. i would have gone that route, but no one locally had one.

good luck.

Same here, I have the SFI one from PP and the qaulity is perfect. If Romac made a black one, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You can't beat the price either.

It seems all of you have it balanced with the crank. I can't do that since I'm just replacing the stock worn balancer before it goes flying. I do see track time where I hold the RPMs at 6k for a few seconds....

Honestly though, the PP balancer (SFI) is a good solid balancer. That's my 100% honest opinion. It's your money though! J/K Just my 2 cents.

I need a 50oz (stock replacement) I think, right? I never had my crank internally balanced...

50 oz yes. If you run it at the track, you might as well get an SFI.

Chris, you will get differing opinions on the fluid style dampers too - i would read up some more before contemplating one.

if you have the cash and do track stuff with occasional flogs, goin SFI might not be a bad idea - less chance of shooting a disk out the hood. you dont exactly have a stock set up - beefier might be better.
