Does anyone here have a tko-500

driveshafts are the same for fox and sn95. I have a FMS aluminum and still used a 5/8" spacer when I installed the TKO. The tranny sits that much further up towards the front of the car when using a TKO or fox style tranny/bell.

I guess if the driveshaft was made for your application then it'd be ok, like maybe one for the '94/5 cobra R.

i've never heard of a longer driveshaft that motorsport makes so that the spacer isnt needed, and you dont need a new driveshaft, just a new yolk for the tranny end of the driveshaft with the correct spline. depending on which model TK500/600 you get will determine what clutch disk you need.

what modification needs to be made to the crossmember?
Dont modify your crossmemeber just buy an Offset trans mount and it will be one million times easier. I got mine from www.bieberfever.com. I did mine about 3 months ago. Here is what i needed

Bell Housing, TKO-500, Fox Clutch Fork, Offset mount, 31 spline slip yoke, DS spacer, 3 quarts of GM Syncromesh.
