I've looked, found a few weird looking ones, but I want one that looks and feels like the Hurst or B&M levers.

he needs one for a stock auto shifter apparently.

i remember seeing some from one of the aftermarket 5.0 places that has them for the later models and are the t-handle style like a hurst shifter. you can even get them engraved with GT, mach 1 or bullit lettering as well. i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on an early model as the basic mechanism is still pretty much the same.

here are some stock looking ones from mustangs plus

can't find the ones i was looking for but i may be condusing them with a t handle for a standard trans. anyway i found these in about 5 minutes of googling. using "mustang billet automatic shifter handle" different combos or words will likely bring up a ton more info.

I found those too. I was worried that the handle connection point would be too large of an inside diameter. I suppose I could just find a t handle at the salvage yard and see if the shift levers are the same diameters. Thanks though

"whats wrong with..." jerrys- Yeah Jerry, I want to keep the stock shifter. I am not sure that I want to convert over to a B&M hammer.
