An eaton supercharger or kit for 96-98 Mustangs? I'm not lookin for big power, just something that looks clean and installs easy. And of course that sweet blower whine the eatons make.

Ford Racing has a kit for the 96-98 GTs. They say it is good for 55 horsepower at 6psi boost. Many people have it and swap a 9 pound pulley onto it and put down some decent numbers. It is a good blower to use everyday cause it is reliable and alot of fun.

allen engine makes a great blower setup.
allen engine

check out the power I am making with my allen it has a lot of mods over a standard allen kit. check out the link to the video of my dyno run

my allen

I strongly recomend that you purchace a 90 mm lightning from dan newman for joe cooper ford in mid west city oklahoma you can buy it with out paying a core charge and it will be 100.00 I also recomend that you purchase a 70 mm frpp throttlebody along with a set of 30# hr injectors and a chip from sct.com.

The reason to upgrade is that the power and throttle response will be much better. The FMU is a band aid. The factory mass air meeter will be maxed out and the injectors are not big enough to deliver enough fuel at stock fuel pressure. I strongly recomend reading the article over on tccoa.com about the alen. The ditching of the fmu will give you 25 hp over using the fmu.
The reason why I recomend adding a 70 mm tb is that it will give you 10 hp over the 65 mm unit. The opening in the inlet is 67 mm so you will need to purchace a rotary file and open it form 67 mm to 70 mm no big deal. If you need a set of 30# hr injectors I have a used set that I will sell for 100.00 compared to the cost of new ones of 260.00 + Check out tccoa.com I also recomend that you ditch the mechanical coolant pump and spend a little extra and upgrade to a lightning coolant pump.
