Does dealership put in syn oil automatically?

I thought I read that my 08 came with synthetic oil. Haven't had my first oil change yet, but I'm about due. (My 2000 E320 MB came with syn oil and the MB dealership has always put syn in it from day one.) Will they put in synthetic oil automatically?

No, factory uses semi synthetic and the dealer will replace it with a semi synthetic as well unless you request and pay for synthetic.
